Loudon County fugitive caught in Illinois Submitted by WBIR Web Staff on Thursday, August 20th, 8:49 pm (WBIR - Loudon County) A man wanted in Loudon County on local, state, and federal charges, was extradited from Illinois to East Tennessee this week. The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation into Tee Ray Pellom began in July 2014 after thefts and car burglaries in the Tellico Village and Foothills Pointe areas. He’s accused of taking weapons, jewelry and purses. Earlier this month, investigators gathered more information about Pellom while investigating the sexual exploitation of a minor. LCUB says they are having a problem at their Lenoir City Downtown Electrical Substation. They will begin work to repair the problem Tuesday night. When firefighters arrived at the home on Crooked Oak Drive around 9:40 pm, flames were shooting up from the basement and through the roof. One woman inside suffered smoke inhalation and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The home was destroyed.
